The police have made many important revelations in the charge sheet of the Shraddha Walker murder case. Aftab Amin Poonawala cut Shraddha's body into small pieces after the murder. The motive of the murder is also now clear. But now the question is who exactly is Shraddha's new friend.
Aftab then brutally beat up Shraddha and later killed her. Aaj Tak/India Today has learned from sources that Shraddha Walker was using an application on her mobile. Which is called Bumble App. It is a Social and Dating App.
On which strangers befriend each other. With the help of this application, she met a guy who lives in Gurugram, Haryana. On 17 May 2022, Shraddha was going to Gurugram to meet the same friend. She had left home that morning.
Shraddha had gone out for the first time to meet this friend from Gurugram. It was this app through which Shraddha also met Aftab Amin Poonawala. Shraddha did not return home that day. Aftab kept waiting for her.
The next day i.e. May 18 at 11 am Shraddha returned to the flat in Chhatarpur. Police have got CCTV footage of Shraddha entering the flat on May 18. When Shraddha came back, Aftab was very angry. Where did she spend the night?
There was a big fight between the two. After this Shraddha and Aftab became normal, both of them had dinner together. But after this, they again had a fight and Aftab killed her. The police did not reveal the name of Shraddha's friend.
On Tuesday, Delhi Police Police Commissioner (South Range) Meenu Chaudhary informed that 9 police teams have been formed to investigate the matter. The scope of investigation in this case spread not only to Delhi but also to four states.
Joint Commissioner Meenu Chaudhary said that after the murder, Aftab cut Shraddha Walker's body into pieces. Therefore, a separate team was formed to exhume the body parts. The team had seized these pieces on Aftab's request.
Accused Aftab Amin Poonawala was interrogated by not one but different teams. Experts were also included for inquiry in this case. The crime was also investigated by FSL and CFSL.
According to Meenu Chaudhary, the accused Aftab in this case was also subjected to narco and polygraph test. Along with this, footage from CCTV cameras in Gurugram and Delhi was taken as evidence. Not only this but Aftab's laptop, digital like social media.
Various types of weapons were used to mutilate Shraddha's body, some of which have been seized by the police. According to Chaudhary, a chargesheet has been filed with all the evidence. In this case, the police questioned more than 150 witnesses.
On 17 May 2022, Shraddha went to Gurugram to meet her second friend. After this she returned on 18 May 2022 in the afternoon. Aftab got angry. After this they had a fight and Aftab killed her.
Accused Aftab seems to be upset with his lawyer. He does not want to show the charge sheet of the case to his lawyer. He has asked to change his lawyer. Aftab's judicial custody has been extended till February 7, 2023.
In this case, the police conducted a narco test on Aftab. A polygraphy test was also conducted before that. He was cross-examined, after which a charge sheet was prepared. Aftab has asked him for a copy of the charge sheet.
