Virat Kohli penned a thought provoking wish on the occasion of India's 72nd Republic Day."The future depends on what we do today. Let's be the strength of our nation and help it reach greater heights. Wishing everyone a Happy Republic Day. Jai Hind," Kohli tweeted. Not just Virat, Anushka also shared a wish for all fans on her social media handle. Anushka shared an animation featuring the tricolour flag of India as she sent out wishes to the nation on the occasion. With it, the couple expressed their pride in the nation together.

Sports figures from badminton, football, and other sports also wished Indians on social media. Virat and Anushka recently welcomed their baby girl on January 11, 2021. The cricketer took to social media to announce the news. Recently, they stepped out to visit the clinic and it was the first time that they were papped after embracing parenthood. Since the birth of their baby girl, Virushka have been spending time with her at home.
