Veteran domestic player Bipul Sharma has announced his retirement from Indian cricket and moved to the USA. A member of the IPL-winning Sunrisers Hyderabad team in 2016, Bipul also played for Punjab Kings in the T20 league. In domestic cricket, he represented Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Sikkim. Since he will be playing in the USA, Bipul won't be able to make his return to Indian cricket. As per the BCCI's rules, a player has to retire from IPL and domestic cricket to take part in foreign leagues.

Bipul, who scalped 17 wickets in 33 IPL matches, got the prized wicket of AB de Villiers in the final of IPL 2016. He stayed with SRH till 2018.Bipul ends his India career with 3012 runs and 126 wickets in 59 matches. In 96 List A matches, the all-rounder scored 1620 runs and dismissed 96 batsmen. In 105 T20s, he has 1203 runs and 84 wickets. Earlier, Unmukt Chand retired from Indian cricket in 2021 to move to the USA. He has enjoyed success in Minor League. The former India U-19 captain also aims to represent the USA cricket team in the future. He will be eligible to don the national cap in 2024. Unmukt is presently in Australia, where is part of Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League.Apart from Unmukt, his former India U-19 teammates Smit Patel and Harmeet Singh have also moved to the USA. Smit was part of Barbados Tridents in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2021.
