A love triangle is something that disturbs the lives of people involved especially when someone married falls in love and ruins the lives of all involved.

Indian cricketers Dinesh Karthik and Murali Vijay were involved in such a love triangle. Both, who were once good friends turned foes and the reason behind all this lead to Karthik's divorce from his first wife.

However, just like Dinesh Karthik and Murali Vijay Sri Lanka's Tillakaratne Dilshan and Upul Tharanga were also involved in a love triangle which destroyed everyone's lives.

The opening duo of Tillakaratne Dilshan and Upul Tharanga is one of the most decorated opening pairs you would’ve ever seen coming out of Sri Lanka. Dilshan and Tharanga have been responsible for Sri Lanka getting those explosive starts for a very long time.

If there’s any opening pair from Sri Lanka after Romesh Kaluwitharana and Sanath Jayasuriya it has to be Dilshan and Tharanga. Though the much successful duo on the field didn’t have the most ideal personal life. As the friendship between the duo grew over the years, Tharanga’s bond with Dilshan’s wife also increased which resulted in a rift between them. Dilshan went on to divorce his wife Nilanka despite having a son between them.

Tharanga then went on to marry Dilshan’s ex-wife Nilanka later on.

On the other hand, Dilshan married Teledrama actress Manjula Thilini. They now have two sons and two daughters between them.
