The Indian cricket team has undergone major changes in the last few days. Virat Kohli has been replaced by Rohit Sharma as the captain of the T20 and ODI teams. Earlier, Ravi Shastri was separated from Team India after the 2021 T20 World Cup as a coach.

Rahul Dravid has now taken over as the head coach of Team India. The duo of Shastri and Kohli shined in all three formats, but never won the ICC Trophy.

In an interview with Times of India, Ravi Shastri said, "During my second term, I was embroiled in a major controversy. After that, many did not want me as a coach. It was clear to me from their behavior. They even chose another person.

Shastri further said, "Yes, they did not want me and Bharat Arun to be the bowling coaches." Today, when I look back, I realize how much the situation has changed. I don't point fingers at people, but there were some special people who introduced me to Team India".

Led by Ravi Shastri, the Indian team has beaten Australia twice in the same series on the same ground.

During Shastri's tenure, Team India played a total of 43 Test matches, winning 25 and losing 13 and drawing 5. Speaking of ODIs, Team India played 79 matches with 53 wins and 23 losses.
