Aurangabad, May 11:
A 94-year-old Surjbai Ratanlal Jain, a resident of Vedantnagar, overcame COVID 19 on the basis of her self-confidence and positive outlook.
Surjabai was experiencing a problem in breathing. After the test, she was detected positive and admitted to a private hospital on April 25.
There was a challenge before doctors as the patient is 94-year-old and has just 35 kg weight.
On the basis of her will power and positive attitude, she overcame the pandemic virus.
She was given discharged on Monday night from the hospital. She has four sons, including former corporator Vikas Jain, one daughter, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.
When she returned home from the hospital, all her family members gave her a rushing welcome.
She was joyous to see such a welcome. The home was decorated like it is done in Diwali festival. Rangolis were made and diyas were lit. Her famous ‘Krishna Bhajan’ was played on her arrival. Her daughters-in-law performed ‘Aukshan.’ She said that she feels happy that she returned home very well.
Surjabai asked his son Vikas Jain on Tuesday whether she is healthy now.
On listening to these words, tears were on his face and he said that she is fully healthy now.
“Seeing the satisfaction on my mother’s face was a precious moment for my family members and me,” he said. She loves ‘Aamras’ and had it even when she was in the hospital.
Surjabai likes TV serials and has watched all episodes of Ramayan and Mahabharata serials.
