Dr Pravin Wakte appointed Pharmacy BoS chairman

Aurangabad, March 9:

Dr Pravin Shreedhar Wakte was appointed chairman of the Pharmacy Board of Studies (BoS) of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) on Wednesday.

The ad hoc BoS was formed as per provisions 159 in Maharashtra Public Universities Act 2016.

Vice-chancellor Pramod Yeole appointed Dr Pravin Wakte as BoS chairman while members are Dr Rajesh Navle (Government Pharmacy College), Dr Hanmant Une (Y B College College of Pharmacy), Dr Sohan Chitlange (D Y Patil Pharmacy College, Pune) and Dr V Patil (Amravati).

Dr Wakte is the Chemical Technology Department head and Chemical Engineering Board chairman for the past ten years.

He also worked as Pro-VC and director of Internal Quality Assurance Cell.
