Aurangabad, March 12: Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Aurangabad branch office conducted a webinar E-Udyam Sangyan recently. It was based on introduction of new age digital platforms of TreDS, GeMS to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and an exposure session from representatives of Endurance Technologies Limited, Waluj, on domain knowledge, corporate governance, good practices and how to raise performance bar.
The webinar included SIDBI officials Ajit Nath Jha, regional head, SIDBI Pune regional office and Bhagwan Chandnani, branch head, SIDBI Aurangabad. Members from Endurance Rajendra Kumar Pawar, plant head, Waluj shared the work culture and manufacturing objectives followed by the corporate entity.
Nikhil Patil, manager, GeMs, Mumbai shared GoI’s initiative of helping MSEs procuring goods and services online though Government e Marketplace (GeMs), overall concept, its working and how it is helping MSEs to go digital. Siddhi Satpute, cluster manager, RXIL, Mumbai disseminated information about SIDBI’s initiative on online bill discounting platform i.e. TREDS – concept, its working, how it is helpful to MSEs in realizing their payments on time.
Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) vice-president Narayan Pawar, CII Aurangabad vice-chairman Prasad Kokil and around 20 MSME units participated and shared their thoughts for MSME development and promotion in Aurangabad and Marathwada.
