Actor Daniel Dae Kim claims antimalarial drug is the ‘secret weapon’ which helped him recover from coronavirus

Actor Daniel Dae Kim of Hellboy fame had recently revealed that he had tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. However, the actor said that anti-malaria drug 'hydroxychloroquine' helped him recover well from the virus that has plagued the world. "This is a common anti-malarial drug that has been used with great success in [South] Korea in their fight against the coronavirus. And yes, this is the drug that the president mentioned the other day," he said in the video.

Daniel  stated that he will not be tested again since there is also a shortage of tests. Once out of isolation he will be able to meet his family, who are symptom-free right now. Earlier, he revealed that he had tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. In an Instagram video the actor had urged people to follow self isolation. Watch Daniel Dae Kim's Instagram post here....
