Apurva Asrani alleges Sushant Singh Rajput's career was written off, by movie mafia

Screenwriter and Fim editor Apurva Asrani in a tweet has opened up on the allegations levelled against Sushant Singh Rajput by the movie mafia. Asrani has urged everyone not to remain silent on the issue. #SushantSinghRajput was called a skirt chaser, falsely accused in a #metoo case, labelled problematic at work & his career written off. We watched silently. Days later, he was found dead by hanging. Now many are eager to label him 'unstable'. Don't be silent now. Talk about this,” Apurva wrote in his latest post. For the unversed, Apurva has worked as an editor in films like ‘Shahid’, ‘Satya’, ‘Aligarh’ and ‘Citylights’. He has also written the screenplay of Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Simran’

Apurva also called out Student Of The Year 2 actor Samir Soni for referring to Sushant Singh Rajput as 'bipolar' in a recent panel discussion on Republic TV. He tweeted, "Actor Samir Soni LIED on the news that Sushant Singh Rajput's psychiatrist called him bipolar. Not one panelist refuted his bogus claim. Dr Chavda had slammed a fake report about Sushants mental illness & called it filthy journalism. Why are you silent??" Earlier, Samir Soni had lashed out at Kangana Ranaut. "Stop shooting your gun off a poor dead man’s shoulder. Have at least that much respect and for God's sake Kangna stop comparing yourself with Sushant, you’re no match, in spite of being an outsider he did nine huge films in only six years. Only God knows what he would have achieved. The former Big Boss contestant later deleted that post.
