Salman Khan Firing Case: Accused Who Cut Hair to Evade Arrest Runs Out of Luck

Harpal Singh, also known as Harry, the accused arrested from Haryana in the firing case outside Salman Khan's house, had cut his hair to avoid arrest. A police officer said that Harpal Singh had to hide his identity from the police, so he cut his hair. The Mumbai Crime Branch team worked tirelessly for 4 days and arrested Harpal Singh.

A police officer said that Harry used to wear a turban, but when the police started arresting the accused in the firing case, he cut his hair.

A case was registered against Harry in Bathinda in 2022 under Section 399 of the Indian Penal Code. In 2023, a case of shooting a businessman for extortion was registered in Raipur. Since 2018, the accused Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary and Harpal Singh have been in contact through social media.

Additionally, some parts of Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab are affected by the Bishnoi gang, with many young people active in Lawrence Bishnoi's fan WhatsApp group. The police predict the possibility that many people are connected with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang through this group as well.

On August 30, 2023, notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was transferred from Tihar Jail to Sabarmati Jail. Meanwhile, it is also speculated that Bishnoi gang associates may have been meeting Lawrence during the time given to prisoners to meet their relatives.

Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary was recruited into the Lawrence Bishnoi gang by Harpal Singh, who is Punjabi. He wears a turban like a Punjabi. However, it has come to the notice of the police that he took off his turban and trimmed his hair as soon as he got a hint that the Mumbai police were on his trail.

During the conspiracy to fire outside Salman Khan's house, Chaudhary also threatened Harpal Singh that if the Mumbai Police caught him, he would tell everyone's names to the police.
