Big Boss contestant Rahul Vaidya's popularity has touched new heights after his participation in Salman Khan's controversial reality show. The singer has been in the limelight for his constant tiff with fellow contestants in the house. Now, the singer's fan club who has been his biggest support outside the house, has shared video of his old stage performances. In the video, the Indian Idol finalist,  can be seen singing 'Subhanallah' and being applauded by none other than the late Sridevi, who is seen with her young daughter, Janhvi Kapoor. At one point, Sridevi is seen clapping her hands in appreciation. Boney later joins her in appreciating Rahul's talent.

Many fans of Rahul too had reacted on the post and dropped a number appreciative post. Rahul apart from his antics in the house, also proposed to his girlfriend Disha Parmar on national television. In November last year, he had proposed to her in a dramatic fashion with a note written on his t-shirt, asking her to marry him. Later, Rahul's mother Geeta Vaidya confirmed that the wedding of Rahul and Disha was very much on the cards. Speaking to India Forums, she had said: “Yes, Disha has come home a couple of times, even I visited her house and I also spoke to her parents, and we have had a few discussions about marriage as well. Once Rahul is back, we will confirm the necessary (details), the date, and other things." Earlier, Rahul took a voluntary exit from the show as he started feeling homesick and missing his parents. The makers then got him back on the show as a wild card entry billing him as one of the strongest contestants of the house.
