Raj Thackeray on Tuesday commented on various issues, including the mini lockdown due to increasing covid cases in state and the resignation of Anil Deshmukh. The second corona wave is worse than the first, but why is it growing in Maharashtra? As Maharashtra is an industrial state, the number of people coming from outside the state is also high. Farmers protest, West Bengal elections are underway. We don't see covid wave spreading there, but it is seen that corona wave is spreading most in Maharashtra.

There are large number of people coming from other states who are not being tested. The numbers are increasing due to these people, said MNS chief. There is no tab on migrants coming and going and due to these people, local Maharashtrians have to face a lockdown and sit at home, he added. Thackeray further said other states are not showing true coronavirus number.

Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam has reacted to Raj Thackeray's comments and wrote on Twitter,"Deaf dances to its own beat"
