Mukesh Ambani bomb scare: Mansukh Hiren wrote to CM Thackeray before his death; Check out details of the letter

The Maharashtra government on Friday handed over the investigation of bomb scare outside Mukesh Ambani’s residence Antilia last week to the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). The move by the state government was made after Mansukh Hiren's death, the owner of the Scorpio that was packed with gelatin sticks and parked near Mukesh Ambani's residence..

In a new revealtion, Hiren had alleged in a letter that despite being a victim, he was being treated like an accused by the police. He had sent the letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, Thane Police Commissioner and Mumbai Police Commissioner.

In his letter Mansukh has made some shocking revealtions. He has mentioned Vikhroli Police Station, Crime Branch Officer Sachin Waze, NIA, Ghatkopar Police Station
a journalist and other senior officials.

Mansukh said in his letter said that his Scorpio (MH 02 AY 2815) was parked near the Nahur flyover on the Eastern Express Highway on February 17 at 6 pm. When he returned to the spot the next day, the vehicle had been stolen. Later, he went to Vikhroli police station and lodged a complaint.

Further his letter to the CM stated that on February 25, at 11 pm, 2-3 ATS policemen came to his house. They said that his Scorpio car was found near Mukesh Ambani's house filled with explosive. The ATS police investigated and they left. After that, 4-5 policemen of Ghatkopar police station came to his home around 11 pm and left after interrogation. Then on February 26, at 2 am, the police of Vikhroli police station came and took him away. They detained him until 6 in the morning and then released him.

Mansukh Hiren further said in the letter, on February 27, at 11 am, he got a call from Vikhroli police station. Later  a call from Ghatkopar police station at 3 o'clock. On March 1, at 4 pm, he got a call came from Nagpada ATS. Police officer Sachin Waze also interrogated him for a long time in the CIU office.

"I was being repeatedly questioned regarding the case. NIA, Joint Commissioner of Police Bhamre also questioned me regarding the case. My mental health deteriorated due to inquiries by various investigative agencies. There were frequent phone calls from journalists from many media outlets. A journalist called and said that I was a suspect in this case.", read the letter.

In the letter Hiren stated that the police and journalists has no right to harass him. He also demanded protection from the harassment by the police and journalists.
