Rajkummar Rao's bride Patralekhaa did not apply Mehendi on her hands on wedding

Wedding season has started in the Bollywood Industry the newly married couple Rajkumar Rao and Patralekhaa are in the headlines for two days. The couple got married on 15 November 2021 at The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in Chandigarh.

There were rumors that the famous couple of Bollywood Patralekhaa and Rajkumar Rao is getting married but they both didn't give any confirmation till last night. But after the wedding, the couple shocked everyone by sharing photos of their wedding.

Bride Patralekhaa was looking so beautiful in her wedding outfit which is designed by the very famous designer Sabyasachi. Patralkehaa's outfit is currently the talk of the town now. Everything from her lehenga to her jewelry is catching the attention of fans.

Her Mehndi a Hindu tradition ceremony is also been discussed wisely. The wedding said that the mehndi is always drawn in the hands of the bride. But, the bride came to the wedding tent without applying the mehndi.

Since the letter belongs to a Bengali family, many of the wedding traditions were carried out according to Bengali customs.

Instead of Mehndi, the bride applied Alta on her hand. Alta is a red dye that is applied to the hands and feet of women, mainly in the Indian subcontinent. Applying mehndi on hands or feet in marriage has never been a part of Hindu culture. It is said that the practice of applying mehndi was started by the Mughals, after which applying mehndi on hands and feet became common in society.

What is special is that not only Alta but the Duppata of bride's Lehanga waa having one mantra written on it 'Amar poran bhaura bhalobasa ami tome somorpon korilam' was the mantra in the Bengali language.
