The Coronavirus epidemic has been a global crisis for the last two years. Scientists are increasingly concerned about the different variants of the corona. Vaccination is currently the only option to control coronavirus.

It also showed a rapid increase in the number of patients due to the omicron variant of the corona. Now the sub variant BA 2 of the Omicron variant of the corona has been found to spread faster than the original BA 1.

But the Corona vaccine is reassuring as it is effective against the sub-variant of Omaicron, BA2. Currently the sub variant BA 2 is in the range of variants in the UK. The BA2 transition rate is increasing compared to BA1 in all areas of England.

As of January 24, 1,072 patients with England BA 2 were registered in genome sequencing. An inquiry is underway at the primary level in this regard. At present the number of these patients is relatively low. According to the UKHSA report, the transition rate of the new variant is declining.

According to experts, the BA 2 infection rate is expected to be 13.4 per cent between December 27, 2021 and January 11, 2022, compared to 10.3 per cent for BA 2.

According to the study, there is no indication that the effect of the vaccine against BA2 disease is less than that of BA1. The effect of the vaccine on BA1 was 9% for those who took 2 doses for more than 25 weeks and the effect of vaccine against BA2 was 13%.

The effect of the vaccine against BA1 increased to 63% in 2 weeks after the third dose of the vaccine, while the effect of the corona vaccine against the sub-variant of BA2 was 70%. This has now come to the fore from this study report.

Dr Susan Hopkins, the UKHSA's chief medical adviser, said the rate of infection of the BA 2 sub variant of Omicron was now increasing in all parts of England. In our study, BA 2 has a higher transition rate than BA 1.

Meanwhile, hospital admissions and mortality rates are lower in the Omicron variant. But in some areas hospitalization and death rates are higher in adult cases. So we need to be careful. Because now the restrictions are being removed.

The symptoms of this new type of corona BA-2 are similar to those of omicron. BA-2 has been found in the genetic source that is being looked for for omicron. Therefore, this variant can be identified only by genetic sequencing.
