Sri Lanka Crisis: India supply food and medicines to Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka's economic situation is deteriorating day by day. A new government has been formed in the country. The new prime minister has also accepted his post. But the situation in the country is still not improving.
Sri Lanka crisis has hit so hard that the country has don't have a penny to return its billions of debt.
Even in this thoughtest time India has stepped forward to help Sri Lanka in its worst crisis.
India is expected to supply 9,000 metric tonnes of rice, 200 metric tonnes of milk powder, and 24 metric tonnes of medicines to Sri Lanka. The full consignment will reach Sri Lanka by Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Indian government has also sent relief materials worth about Rs 45 crore to Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan government has also thanked India for its assistance from time to time.
Even though some experts believe that India has adopted this strategy in view of the growing influence of China in Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, the expert Kamar Aga said in a conversation with Aajtak that India and Sri Lanka have a long history.
India is following the religion of its neighbor. Sri Lanka has always been a friend of India and still is. Even today, when the crisis hit Sri Lanka, for the first time, India came to their aid.
The situation in Sri Lanka is currently deteriorating. Recently, the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka had said that there was only one day's worth of petrol left in the country. On the other hand, there is a shortage of food and essential medicines.
