The farmers' agitation against the three agricultural laws of the central government, which has been going on for the last one year, has been a great success. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to repeal all the three agricultural laws.

September 17 marks the end of the year with the enactment of the controversial Agriculture Act and November 26 marks the one year anniversary of the farmers' agitation. Three agricultural laws were introduced for the development of farmers. Small farmers should get more strength, this has been the demand for years.

Farmers in the country have been agitating since November 26, 2020 to repeal the three agricultural laws, the Agricultural Products, Trade and Commerce (Incentives and Facilities) Act, Guaranteed Prices and Agricultural Services Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement Act and the 3 Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act.

The main fear of the agitating farmers is that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) given by the Center on selected crops will be canceled and they will be left at the mercy of big corporate houses. Farmers in Punjab announced a three-day rail blockade on September 24, 2020.

After several unorganized protests against the Agriculture Act, the farmers' unions of Haryana and Punjab jointly announced the 'Delhi Chalo' agitation on November 25, 2020, which marked the formal beginning of the agitation. The farmers' movement was later supported by the opposition.

During the 'Delhi Chalo' march on November 26, police in Haryana's Ambala district tried to disperse them and the farmers had to face water cannons and tear gas. Later, the police arrested him at Nirankari Maidan in north-west Delhi.

After several rounds of discussions, the Modi government at the Center realized that it was adamant on its new agricultural laws, and on December 11, 2020, the Indian Farmers' Union approached the Supreme Court. On January 12, 2021, the Supreme Court passed the controversial laws.

On Republic Day, farmers marched on the Red Fort and vandalized public property. At that time, the peasant movement attracted international attention. A group of protesters climbed the Red Fort and hoisted the Nishan Sahib flag. Like Rihanna and Greta Thunberg.

A section of the people was looking at these laws as a revolutionary reform in the Indian agricultural sector, which would increase market efficiency and private investment. In December, top law experts from India's leading science and management institutes passed farm laws.

With five state elections looming and the opposition joining the agitating farmers, the Modi government could not come up with a solution and had to bow down to the farmers. Three agricultural laws were announced to be repealed saying that we failed to make the farmers understand the agricultural laws.

Introduced three agricultural laws in the country very sincerely to empower the farmers. Only one group of farmers was opposing the agricultural laws. Agricultural economists, scientists, experts tried to explain. Discussions started from various media, from meetings.

Maybe there is something missing in our penance. The farmers failed to understand. That is why the government has decided to repeal three agricultural laws. Modi appealed to the agitating farmers to go to their homes, go to the fields and start work, make a fresh start
