For the first time, the Election Commission is introducing the 'vote-from-home' option, primarily targeting senior citizens aged 85 years and above, as well as voters with disabilities. This move aims to make the voting process more convenient and comfortable for these demographics, especially considering the challenges they may face, such as standing in long queues during hot weather.
