Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, and the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) jointly organised a 10-day Government Officers Training Programme on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) at Maulana Azad College recently.

The training provided hands-on exposure in RPA to 50 teachers from 15 departments of the college, who completed the Government Officers Training (GoT) programme.

The initiative aimed to develop multidisciplinary competencies among educators in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, emphasising the importance of adopting emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in the education system.

Dr Mohd Abdul Rafey from the MMTC Training Centre of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University was the chief guest.

College principal Dr Mazahar Farooqui also spoke. Yogesh Shejwal, Maitreya Sardar, Dr Arif Pathan (organising secretary) and Dr Syed Abeduddin (course coordinator) were present.
