Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Ten plays were performed at the Golden Jubilee Drama Festival organised by the Department of Performing Arts of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.

The drama festival featured a play titled 'Nothing To Say', written by Prasad Dani and directed by the department's student, Dr Ravindra Murkute.

The play depicts the anguish of a girl who carries the grief of not having a father, while also enduring the ridicule and mockery from society that exploits this very fact. She ultimately tracks down her father and pours out her suppressed pain before him.

The conflict in the relationship between the main character, Sahasrabuddhe and his daughter Malvika drives the play forward and carries it to its dramatic peak.

The play presents sharp, oblique views on the changing family structure and relationships in modern times.

While portraying the turmoil of a girl searching for the bond between a father and daughter, the artists made every effort to do full justice to their respective roles.
