Aurangabad, Nov 11:

Nearly 1051 candidates will take the common entrance test (CET) for M Phil admissions within the jurisdiction of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) on November 20.

It may be noted that the M Phil course will be scrapped in 2022 with the implementation of New Education Policy. Following the demand from researchers and students, the university decided to continue it. There are 18 departments, including English, Marathi, Hindi, Economics, Sociology offer the course.

The registration process was completed between November 1 and 10. Nearly 1050 research aspirants will appear for the CET to be held on November 20. Deputy registrar (Postgraduate Department), Dr Digamber Netke said that the test result would be announced on November 21 and classes will commence from December 1.
