Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: New directors were appointed for 12 study centres of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University on Tuesday.

Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari has approved the directors' appointment. The university has study centres and research centres named after great men.

New appointments were made as directors of these centres. Registrar Dr Prashant Amrutkar has issued an appointment letter to each of the directors.

The names of the new directors of the study centre-wise are as follows;

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Study Centre (Dr P N Sahare), Mahatma Gandhi Study Centre (Dr Sudhakar Shendge), Shahir Annabhau Sathe Study Centre (Dr Madan Suryavanshi), Vasantrao Naik Study Center (Dr Yashwant Waykar), Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Research Center (Dr Purushottam Deshmukh), Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Research Center (Dr Sunil Narwade), Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Research Center (Dr Kritika Khandare), Mahatma Phule Pratishthan (Dr Anand Ubale), Gautam Buddha Study Center (Dr Madhuri Sawant), Vilasrao Deshmukh Study Center (Dr Aparna Ashtaputre), Adyakavi Mukundraj Adhyasana Center (Dr Dasu Vaidya), Kavi Vamandada Kardak Study Center (Dr. Mustajeeb Khan), Science Technology Park (coordinator, Dr Prabhakar Undre).

Dr Amol Khandagale was appointed incharge of the director of Science Van. Directorship of Sant Gadge Baba Rural Problems Research Centre will remain with Registrar Dr Prashant Amritkar.
