Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: An innovative programme of mass-level singing patriotic songs is being implemented across the State to instil patriotic values in students in view of Republic Day, on January 26.

Education Officer Ashwini Latkar said that this programme is being implemented simultaneously at 35 locations in the district, and it has been planned for 1.50 lakh students to participate. She noted that this is part of the important principle of ‘awakening patriotism’ under the ongoing Ten-Point Programme, which is the brainchild of District Collector Deelip Swami.

This program will be implemented based on the concept of School Education Minister Dada Bhuse, and will involve seven lakh teachers and two crore students from one lakh schools across the State. The name of this programme is ‘Sanskar Dashsutriche, Rang Deshbhaktiche'.

Around 1.5 lakh students will participate in this programme in the district, and the event is being organised accordingly.
