Aurangabad, April 25:

The serious Corona patients for various districts of the state are coming in the Aurangabad district for treatment. Moreover, in all, 185 such patients died in Aurangabad district in the past 55 days, the sources said.

In all, 2665 persons died due to Corona in the district so far, but not all of them are from the Aurangabad district. Patients from Beed, Jalna, Hingoli, Parbhani, Nanded, Jalgaon, Buldhana, Ahmednagar, Nashik and other district are also coming for treatment in the district due to the dearth of ventilators and Remdesivir injections there. Hence, the number of patients coming to Aurangabad district is increasing considerably. The district health machinery have to borne additional burden of treatment of these patients. Moreover, around 5 to 6 patients from other districts die daily while undergoing treatment. On Saturday, 12 persons from other districts died. On February 28, the number of deaths in the district was 901 from the city, 368 from the rural areas and 133 from the other districts. Similarly, the deaths on April 24 reached 1552 from the city, 795 from the rural areas and 318 from the other districts.
