Aurangabad, Sept 24: The district administration surveyed 15,19,162 Corona affected persons from 3,53,988 houses in rural areas. It was observed in the survey that 18,602 persons have comorbidity medical conditions like diabetes, blood pressure, hypertension, and others. Meanwhile, the total number of Corona patients in the rural areas crossed the 12,000 mark on Thursday, of which more than 10,000 have recovered.
The total Corona patients in rural areas on Thursday were 12,181, of which 10,001 recovered, 242 died while 1938 are being treated. In all, 6,481 were found positive through RTPCR tests and 5700 through antigen tests. The maximum of the patients being treated are 609 in Aurangabad tehsil, 349 from Paithan, 331 from Gangapur, and 301 from Vaijapur, informed acting district health officer Dr Ulhas Gandal.
In the survey, 18,602 persons were found with comorbidity, 3168 were Corona suspects who had breathing problems, 1251 had fever and 704 had oxygen deficiency. Out of 1369 who had undergone Corona tests, 125 were positive. The 62 percent of the survey work has been completed while the persons with comorbidities have been directed to take care, said the health officers.
