Aurangabad, Oct 31:
As many as 19 workers of Bajaj Auto Company were injured after a bus carrying them met an accident near Cantonment Toll Naka on Friday night.
The injured workers were rushed to a private hospital. The bus was transporting workers of a second shift to the city from Bajaj Auto Company, Waluj MIDC, at around 1.30 am. A speeding vehicle coming from the opposite direction hit the bus near Cantonment Toll Naka.
All the injured workers were admitted to Bajaj Hospital by another bus.
Police inspector Manoj Pagare said that 16 workers given discharged after first aid while remaining three are undergoing the treatment.
He said that the hospital had not sent the MLC yet till Saturday afternoon.
According to sources, a speeding truck hit the bus while to evade Toll Naka. Police officers that there is no entry of the case with Cantonment Police Station.
