Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A 19-year-old youth was killed after a speeding motorcycle rammed into a road divider at Vitawa Phata on Saturday evening. A case has been registered at the MIDC Waluj police station.

According to the complaint filed by Mosin Shaikh (25, driver, Nandeda), the deceased has been identified as Rizwan Shah (19, Jogeshwari, Gangapur tehsil). Shah was riding a motorcycle (MH-20-GX-8725) owned by the complainant from Jogeshwari towards Vitawa when he allegedly lost control and crashed into the divider. He sustained serious injuries in the accident and succumbed thereafter. Further investigation is underway.
