Aurangabad, FEB 22: Two youths were killed on the spot while one other seriously injured when a cane-laden tractor trolley knocked down a speedy motorcycle at Kesapuri in Majalgaon tehsil of Beed district in Marathwada region on Majalgaon-Gadhi road on Sunday at 11.30 pm.
According to reports, Raviraj Ramhari Shendage (20), a resident of Umri in Majalgaon tehsil, Vivek Bhagwat Maykar (21), a resident of Pimpalgaon in Majalgaon and Onkar Kale (22) were proceeding towards their native places riding on a motorcycle after attending a mass-marriage programme at Majalgaon on Sunday evening.
Due to darkness, the motorcycle rider could not see the cane-laden tractor trolley proceeding in the same direction. The motorcycle hit the trolley killing Raviraj and Vivek on the spot.
The injured Onkar has been shifted to Aurangabad for treatment as his condition was very critical, said the doctors of Majalgaon sub-district hospital.
