Aurangabad, Jan 3:

Two motorcyclists died on the spot as two motorcycles dashed each other coming from opposite directions at Ladsavangi Shivar at Gawalimatha Turn on Sunday evening. The deceased have been identified as Santosh Ghatole (30, Juni Paniwadi) and Anees Shaikh (25, Hatmali).

Santosh was going towards Lassavangi on his motorcycle (MH 20 BU 3138) and Anil Shaikh was going from Ladsavangi to Halmali village on his motorcycle (MH 20 AQ 1837). Both the motorcycle dashed with each other from the oppositive directions at Gawalimatha Turn near Ladsawangi Shivar. Anees died on the spot while Santosh was severely injured. He died on the way while being taken to the Ladsavangi primary health centre.

The farmers going to home from the farms run to help the accident victims. They informed the Karmad Police about the incident. API Prashant Patil, Siraj Pathan, Prabhakar Jadhav, Tarachand Ghade went to the spot and made the panchanama.

Santosh was going to bring his father-in-law and mother-in-law who were waiting for him near health centre at Ladsavangi. He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.

Anees Shaikh runs a chicken business. He was going to his village Hatmali after purchasing chicken from Ladsavangi.
