Aurangabad, Oct 23:

Thieves burgled two houses at the farms at Wadgaon – Rampuri Shivar in Waluj area and made off with cash and valuables worth Rs 70,000.

Sudhir Vaijanath Borade lives in his farm at Wadgaon – Rampuri. On Tuesday at around 1.30 am found that the articles in the house were scattered and an iron suitcase was missing. It contained gold chain, earrings, nose ring and Rs 1200 cash.

Similarly, the thieves broke into the house of Kiran Borade and stole gold jewellery worth Rs 41,000. Cases have been registered at Waluj MIDC police station.

In another incident, thieves stole bronze worth Rs 1.5 lakh from a transformer at Bushra Re-cycling Company at Jogeshwari Shivar. The owner, Nizamoddin Dinmohammad Khan lodged at Waluj MIDC police station.
