A 20-year-old man was found hanging in his hotel room in Vitawa Waluj on Thursday, just days after renting the property. The reason behind his death remains unknown.
The deceased, Adarsh Vijay Shukla from Ghanegaon, had taken Rahul Restaurant in Vitawa on rent only eight days ago. Around 1.30 pm, he hanged himself using a bedsheet tied to the ceiling fan in room number 103. Hotel staff Sudhakar Gayke and Rahul Narawade rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. MIDC Waluj police have registered an accidental death case, and further investigation is underway under constable Rajendra Ude.
