Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A 21-day special workshop organised for Pali language learning, jointly by the Institute of Indian and Foreign Languages of MGM University and the Central Sanskrit University (New Delhi), concluded at the Einstein Auditorium. recently.

MGM University Chancellor Ankushrao Kadam, former VC Dr Ram Nakshatra Prasad, Registrar Dr Ashish Gadekar, Dr Sanjay Mohad, Dean Dr Rekha Shelke, Dr K P Singh and others were present.

The main objective of this initiative was to highlight the importance of the Pali language, Buddhist literature, philosophy, and cultural traditions.

The workshop included 74 teaching sessions over 18 working days. Expert scholars Dr Prafulla Gadpal, Dr Priyanka, Dr Jaywant Khandare, Dr Ramesh Prasad and Dr Ramnakshatra Prasad provided in-depth guidance on Pali grammar, literature, translation skills, and Buddhist philosophy.

Along with academic activities, educational visits were organised to places like Ajanta and Ellora caves, and Grishneshwar temple. Dr Rehana Sayed conducted the proceedings of the programme, while Dr Pragya Konarde proposed a vote of thanks.
