24 candidates interviewed for Dean's posts;

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Registrar of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu), Dr Prashant Amrutkar, said that 24 candidates appeared for interviews for four Dean positions. The recruitment process for statutory officers and teaching staff has commenced under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari.

Applications have been invited for nine posts in the statutory officers category and interviews for these posts have already begun. Among these, interviews were conducted for the post of Dharashiv Sub-Campus Director on April 21, Director of Lifelong Learning on April 23, and Director of Innovation and Incubation on April 27. Six, 17, and four candidates respectively appeared for these posts.

A list of 31 eligible candidates for four Dean positions was announced, and interviews were held between May 4 and 7, with a total of 24 candidates appearing.

Interview for Registrar's Post on May 22

The post of Registrar has been vacant since October 10, 2022, following the resignation of Dr Jayshree Suryavanshi.

The final list of eligible candidates for the posts of Director of Knowledge Resource Centre and Registrar has been announced, with interviews scheduled on May 12 and May 22, respectively.

Over the past four years, Dr Bhagwan Sakhale and Dr Prashant Amrutkar have been handling the additional charge of the Registrar's post. Now, a full-time Registrar will be selected through interviews on May 22. A total of eight candidates have been found eligible for this post.
