Aurangabad, Dec 29:

Three persons were booked with MIDC Waluj Police Station for allegedly beating up two-wheeler rider on Monday evening.

According to details; the complainant Sachin Subhash Gavli (28, Narali Baugh) works in a factory in Waluj MIDC. Sachin left his home to purchase materials from Waluj MIDC on at 6 pm on Monday.

Three persons on a single moped (MH-20-DS 5485) stopped him at Sambhaji Chowk in Waluj MIDC. One of the youths asked for mobile phone of Sachin who refused to give it. on this, they beat him up. Passerby and riders rushed to help Sachin. Fearing that they would be caught, the accused fled from the spot by leaving their moped.

Injured Sachin Gavli was admitted to a private hospital for the treatment.

A case was registered against the accused Ajay Jadhav alias Ajju, Yogesh Dodwe and Hemant Pund (Bajajnagar) with MIDC Waluj Police Station.
