Aurangabad, June 13:

Zilla Parishad teachers of 31 schools and villagers raised a fund of Rs 44 lakh under the 'Sundar Majhe Karyalay' initiative to renovate schools and make available required facilities.

The Education Department informed this newspaper that the renovation and repair works would be carried out before June 25.

The works included cleaning, rainwater harvesting, use of solar, tree plantation, potable water facility, the colouring of office and classes, e-learning room and library.
