On the occasion of the 350th Shahidi Samagam year of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahibji, a grand program has been organized on January 24 and 25, on the 52-acre ground of the Public Works Department in the Asarjan area of Nanded. A large number of devotees from the district are set to attend this.

Collector Deelip Swami reviewed the preliminary preparations to be made by the district for this event today. He directed coordinated efforts across departments to ensure security, transport, and facilities for devotees, while urging schools and organizations to raise awareness for the historic 350th Shahidi Samagam. Minister Misal directed providing water, sanitation, and transport for vulnerable groups. She emphasized broad publicity via media, hoardings, and cinema songs, while using school competitions to inspire patriotism and ensuring public representatives lead local awareness efforts for the global event. Resident deputy collector Janardan Vidhate, deputy commissioner Lakhichand Chavan, district planning officer Bharat Wayal, food inspector Varsha Rode, and representatives from Gurdwara institutions including Nandkumar Ahuja, Gurugyan Siddh Ranvir Singh, Narendrasingh Tarasingh Jabinda, Harindersingh, Jagdev Singh, Ramesh Wadhwa, State Committee Member Uttam Chavan, Dr. Sudam Chavan, Kartar Rathod, Kuldeep Singh Chhabra, Sardar Harisingh, and other dignitaries were present. Lakhs of global devotees across nine communities, including Sikh, Banjara, and Sindhi, will gather in Nanded on January 24-25. The event honors Guru Tegh Bahadur’s sacrifice for humanity, with travel and program details provided on the official website for convenience. This program will be attended by union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, along with many ministers and saints, informed Collector Rahul Kardile. Collector Rahul Kardile confirmed coordinated arrangements for residence, transport, and security. The venue features cleanliness, volunteer teams, free stalls, 50,000 medical screenings, and a massive Langar for one million devotees, alongside ongoing publicity efforts to ensure the event's success.
