Aurangabad, April 23:
A total of 3.71 lakh citizens had taken the Covid-19 vaccine in the district since the inception of the vaccination drive. Meanwhile, the cases of persons reporting Covid-19 positives after taking the jabs are negligible. It is on record that 22 persons tested positive after taking the first dose and 12 persons after taking the second dose. Moreover, the health complaints to citizens after the jab was also not serious in nature as they recovered soon.
A total of 1.14 lakh Covid-19 patients had been reported from the district, so far. Out of which, 97,198 got recovered and 2,275 succumbed to the viral infection.
Importance of vaccination
If anybody gets infected then the HRCT of some patients records between 18 and 24 pc. The oxygen level also reduces speedily. If the person had taken the vaccine then the health condition could get stable. Besides, it does not causecauses any harm to other organs of the body.
According to the health administration, 3.31 lakh citizens had taken the first dose of the vaccine and around 40,000 had taken the second dose. Till to date 3.71 lakh citizens had taken the vaccine from various parts of the district.
The municipal officer of health Dr. Neeta Padalkar said, " I was tested as Covid-19 positive after taking the vaccine doses. The pain was less compared to the previous one. The vaccinated body gives a good response to the treatment. The spreading of Coronavirus is under control to a major extent in the city due to the launching of the vaccination drive in an aggressive way."
0.013 pc Covid positive after the first dose
It is learnt that 22 persons from the city were reported as Covid-19 positives after taking the first dose. The figures from rural parts of the district were not reported. Their pains were less compared to the ones of the general patients. Besides, they got recovered from their health complaints quickly.
34 Covid positive after the second dose
It may be noted that 3.71 lakh citizens from the district (including 2 lakh from the city) had taken the vaccine. There is not a single report of the death of Covid patient after taking the vaccine. Hence the percentage of persons reporting positive after taking the vaccine is very less, it is learnt.
