Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: To make teachers more competent, thoughtful and sensitive, it is necessary to provide a platform for teachers' literary expression.

Secondary Education Officer Ashwini Lathkar said that the third Teachers' Literary Convention would be organised for this purpose on March 17.

A meeting was recently held in the Secondary Education Department to plan the Teachers' Literary Conference. In that meeting, it was decided to organise the conference at the Manthan Hall of MIT Engineering College.

Programmes such as book fair, picture exhibition, symposium, storytelling, poetry recitation and conference will be organised in this conference.

Also, the publication of an edited book based on the historical and cultural heritage of the city, ‘Rich Heritage: Teachers’ Writings- The Story of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar,’ will be held at this conference. Manisha Wasimbe, Dr S Gaikwad, Habib Bhandare and others were present.
