Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Passengers on IndiGo’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar-Mumbai flight faced over four hours of delay on Tuesday night. The flight, scheduled for 9.10 pm, finally took off around 1 am, causing significant inconvenience.
The delay stemmed from an emergency landing of IndiGo’s Pune-Raipur flight at Chikalthana International Airport around 7.30 pm due to an engine malfunction. While 161 passengers from that flight were accommodated on the Mumbai-Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar route to reach Raipur, Mumbai-bound passengers had to wait for an alternative aircraft. The replacement arrived only at 1 am, as per airport sources. Repeated attempts to reach IndiGo officials for comments remained unanswered.

The malfunctioning Pune-Raipur aircraft remained at the airport throughout Wednesday, with IndiGo’s technical team working on repairs.
