A 50-year-old woman died by suicide by hanging herself at home. The incident came to light on Tuesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Ashoka Premshankar Prajapati (Jaibhavaninagar). Ashoka and her husband worked at a private company. She had been unwell for the past few days. On Tuesday evening, while her husband was busy with household chores, Ashoka went to the second floor and hanged herself. When she did not respond despite repeated calls, Premshankar went upstairs and discovered the incident. The couple has two children. Mukundwadi police are investigating the case.
