Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A 52-year-old man died by suicide after hanging himself from a ceiling fan using a saree at his residence near Mohata Devi Chowk in the Bajajnagar area. The incident came to light on Monday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Shankar Balasaheb Jondhale (Shahnagar, Cidco, Wadgaon Kolhati). According to reports, he hanged himself at around 10.30 am on Monday. He was immediately taken to the casualty ward of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) by Sharad Wahule for treatment. However, after examination, the medical officer at the hospital declared him dead at 11.15 am.
