57 copycats caught in single day

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A total of 57 students were caught indulging in malpractice during the HSC examination in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar division of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) in a single day, on Monday.

It may be noted that the State Board commenced holding the XII standard examination on February 11. A total of 26 students were caught in English subject paper, on the first day of the examination.

There are sitting squads at the examination in the five districts. Also, the flying squads of Departments like Education, Revenue and State Board are visiting the centres to conduct copy-free examinations. The MSBSHSE held Physics and Logic subject papers from 11 am to 1 pm today.

A total of 57 students were caught while indulging in malpractice in Physics papers. The highest number of candidates caught today are from Parbhani (52) followed by Jalna (three) and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (two).

--Parbhani- Sanskriti Junior College (Purna), Jai Jawan Jai Kisan Junior College (Kawalgaon) and

Sharadchandraji Pawar K.M.V(Kodri, Gangakhed)--total cases 52
