Chhatrapati Sambhjinagar: The Department of Statistics of Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University will organise a workshop on 'Advanced Statistical Data Analysis Using Software' from March 3 to 8.

This six-day training is being provided under PM Usha to meet the growing demand for data analysis skills in a data-centric world.

Hands-on training on important statistical tools like Excel, R and SPSS will be provided in the workshop.

These tools are widely used for data management, analysis and interpretation in various fields like research, business, healthcare and social sciences. The workshop aims to meet the needs of the industry, improve decision-making and competitiveness for professional advancement.

Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari will inaugurate the workshop on Monday.

Pro-VC Dr Walmik Sarwade, Registrar Dr Prashant Amrutkar and Dr Gulab Khedkar will be the chief guests. Dean Dr M B Shirsat will preside over the programme.

Head of Department Dr Sunil Kawale, Dr C D Sonar, Dr A Y Tayde, Convenor Dr Omprakash Jadhav will be present for the event.

More than 150 researchers have registered for this workshop.
