Aurangabad, Dec 30:

In all, 68 new Corona suspects were found positive on Sunday. The total number of patients reached 45544, of which, 43875 recovered, 1200 died while 469 are being treated, informed the district administration.

Patients found in the city are from, Shreyanagar, N-3 Cidco, N-5 Cidco, Chikalthana, Katkat Gate, Pundliknagar, N-3 Cidco, Bhavsinghpura, Military Hospital area, Deolai Road Satara Area, Kranti Chowk, Civil Hospital, Kanchanwadi, Chelipura, Padeggaon, Pratapgadhnagar Cidco, Bhanudasnagar, Manjeet Pride, Osmanpura (One each). TV Centre, Nageshwarwadi (Two each). Garkheda – 3, Bhawati Colony – 6, Others – 27.

Patients found in the rural areas are from, Ranjangaon – 1, Pachod – 2, Others – 5.

A 60 years old man from Urjanagar, Satara area and 74 years old man from Raja Bazar at private hospitals. The total number of deaths in the district reached 1200 now.

Meanwhile, 48 patients including 37 from the city and 11 from the rural areas recovered and were given discharge on Wednesday. The total number of patients recovered in the district reached 43875 while 469 are being treated.

In all, 214 passengers including 154 at the Railway Station and 60 at the Airport were tested on Wednesday. Out of the passengers tested at Railway Station on Tuesday, one was found positive. 93 tests were conducted at Jadhavwadi Bhaji Mandai.

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) tested 1005 residents. Out of the 182 antigen tests, 17 were found positive. The swab samples of 823 were collected and their reports will be received on Thursday.
