Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The 700 mm diameter water pipeline supplying water to the old city frequently experiences leaks. On Thursday, a leak occurred in the 700 mm diameter pipeline passing under the cement road from the Railway Station road to old Chelipura High School. The municipal corporation team dug the cement road and completed the repair work.

Both the 1200 mm and 700 mm pipelines, which supply water to the city from the Jayakwadi Dam, have become dilapidated, leading to frequent bursts.

Last week, a crack had developed in the 700 mm diameter pipeline near Mugdalwadi, close to Jayakwadi, and on Thursday, a leak occurred in the 700 mm pipeline running through the middle of the road in front of the railway station. As a result, a decision was made to repair the pipeline. The executive engineer confirmed that the repair work was completed late at night.
