Aurangabad, Jan 2:

In all, 76 new Corona suspects were reported positive on Saturday. The total number of patients in the district reached 45782 now, of which, 44070 recovered, 1206 died while 486 are being treated, informed the district administration.

Patients found in the city are from, N-7, Arihantnagar, N-4, Avishkar Colony, near Savangikar Hospital, N-9, Mukundwadi, Uttaranagari, Shahnagar, Bhavsinghpura, Itkheda, Central School Nagar Naka area, Kanchanwadi, N-11 Gajanannagar, Padegaon, Central Naka (One each).

Dhoot Hospital area, Jatwada Road, Snehnagar, Beed By-pass, Samarthnagar (Two each). Others – 41.

Patients found in rural areas are from, Lasur Savangi, Paithan, Kannad (One each). Others – 4.

One dies; total deaths: 1206

A 75 years old man from Kalyannagar, Padhod, Paithan tehsil died at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). The total deaths in the district reached 1206 now.

Manwhile, 57 patients including 42 from the city and 15 from the rural areas recovered and were given discharge on Saturday. The total number of patients recovered in the district reached 44070 now while 486 are being treated.
