Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

On the occasion of Shri Swami Samarth Punyatithi, a week-long programme was organised from April 9 to 15 across 126 centres in the district. Around 76,000 devotees participated in the collective reading of Guru Charitra.

During the week, devotees recorded their acts of service, which were symbolically offered at the feet of Swami on the concluding day. Activities included community readings of Durga Saptashati, Navnath, Bhagwat, Vishnu Sahasranama, along with mass chanting of Shri Swami Samarth naam, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, Gayatri Mantra, and Navarna Mantra.

On Punyatithi, a maha abhishek was performed early in the morning, followed by bhupali aarti and Satyadatta pujan. Devotees offered food items as naivedya, followed by maha prasad. Information about upcoming events was also shared, said regional representative Sandeep Deshmukh.
