Aurangabad, June 3:

A total of eight mandals in Marathwada region recorded pre-monsoon heavy rainfall during the last few days.

The different parts of the region experienced heavy rainfall. The names of mandals with the rainfalls is as follows; Chikalthan Mandal in Aurangabad tehsil (67 MM), Vihamandva in Paithan tehsil (77 MM), Tirthpuri at Ghansaungi tehsil of Jalna (89 MM), Gevrari in Beed (79.50 mm), Manjalgaon (70.50 mm), Ghatnandur in Ambejogai (80.50 mm), Kasapur at Pathri tehsi in Parbhani district (82 mm) and Selgaon of Sonpeth tehsil (107.75 MM).
