Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Around 800 devotees from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Beed, Parbhani and Jalna districts left for Bodhgaya in Bihar on Friday evening under the ‘Mukhyamantri Tirthatan Yojana’.

Guardian Minister Sanjay Shirsat greeted the passengers with roses and flagged off the special train. MLA Prashant Bamb, Mayor Sameer Rajurkar, social justice department principal secretary Harshdeep Kamble, divisional commissioner G. Sreekanth, former mayor Nandkumar Ghodele, corporators Siddhant Shirsat and Harshada Shirsat, deputy commissioner of social welfare Deepak Kharat and assistant commissioner Ravindra Shinde were present on the occasion. The railway station premises and train were decorated with flowers, while a lezim troupe added to the festive atmosphere.
